Following an assessment with Unpaid Carers Support Southampton, you will be offered the option to be referred on to two other relevant and trusted services.

We work together with Citizens Advice Southampton and So:Linked, to ensure carers have easy access to straightforward, up-to-date information and advice. 

What kind of support can I expect from So:Linked?

A friendly and supportive conversation with a specialist Community Navigator who will explore with you your own needs and interests, as well as those in relation to your caring role using the information from your Carers Assessment. With your permission, So:Linked will connect you with the local community and social enterprises that you will benefit most from. 

What kind of support can I expect from Citizens Advice Southampton

Citizens Advice Southampton provides free, confidential and impartial advice to people living in Southampton. They can help carers with money, benefits, housing or employment problems. Citizens Advice Southampton also provides specialist advice to people with Multiple Sclerosis or cancer, and their carers and families.  Their goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.
