With the weather finally set to change for some much-anticipated summer sunshine, join Unpaid Carers Support Southampton for a day at the seaside!
Join us at The Wheel House, Hill Head Beach on Tuesday 15th August from 10am – 3pm to relax and take a break from the stresses of your responsibilities, as well as to meet and socialise with fellow carers.
Bring a picnic lunch, and the UCS team will be there to welcome you with tea, cake and a listening ear. There will be opportunity for a beach and/or promenade stroll, paddle and buy ice cream.
The Wheel House is well appointed with access to a toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, tables, and chairs. It is also wheelchair friendly. Cared for guests are welcome.
The Wheel House can accommodate 42 people. Please register for every person attending so we can ensure enough seating.
Parking:
The Wheel House has immediate parking at Salterns Road Car Park, with direct ramp access. Parking is charged at £1.10 per hour and is free to valid and displayed Blue Badge holders.
